Our Story

As a roof repair and replacement expert, Deschutes Roofing & Insulation opened for business after a particularly snowy winter. Carlos Simpson, our president, and his daughter were shoveling snow for their neighbors when he noticed that most of the homes in the area had severe ice dams. After talking to some neighbors who have had to deal with leaks due to ice dams, he put together a 30-member crew within a week to remove snow from local homes and establishments. He got that job done, but he also realized that the ice dam problem was widespread, affecting thousands of homes. It was far from over, and so Deschutes Roofing & Insulation was born.
